Welcome to 5 Navy with Mrs Lynch. My experience as a teacher spans a period of 30 years. Schools that I have taught at include: St Mary's, Maryborough, St Sebastion's, Yeronga, St Francis, Crestmead and finally, here at St Bernardine's. I have taught all year levels and have worked for many years in a multi- age environment.
My association with St Bernardine's also spans many years. My own two children attended this school in their primary years. Both are now completing University degrees in Law and IT. Before teaching at St Bernardine's, I was a 'tuckshop mum' and actively participated in the parish community by conducting Children's Liturgies and Sacramental Family Days.
St Bernardine's has changed so much in the past 10 years. The grounds and facilities are amazing. The opportunities and experiences offered to the children by a caring, skilled and dedicated staff will hold them in good stead in years to come. My particular areas of expertise include a love of Literacy, Art and History. My other passion is Maths, with an emphasis on seeing Maths as part of our everyday life.
I look forward to working with your child throughout the year and will endeavour to offer as many opportunities as I can to ensure a rich and fulfilling experience for all.
